Mobilizing the youth of the Greater Cincinnati area into action, Unified for UNIFAT created an event that focused on educating students about UNIFAT Primary School, demonstrating support for the peace talks in a white flag parade through downtown Cincinnati, and rocking out to a public concert celebrating the success of Unified for UNIFAT in supporting UNIFAT School.

Dance party...for a good cause! Unified for UNIFAT’s most innovative idea yet; people from all around Cincinnati enjoy the dance crew, D.J., iPod competition, and of course the GO Africa tickets being pulled! This ingenious event is Unified for UNIFAT’s biggest, drawing 800+ people every year, and we’re just getting started.

Education and empowerment was the focus of this overnight experience. School chapters and individuals came to learn about UNIFAT School and the sponsorship program. Stations included hat making, media about UNIFAT, and a simulated IDP (Internally Displaced Persons) camp where participants slept for the night.

Live a day in the life of a student at UNIFAT School. Unified for UNIFAT provided the opportunity for youth to experience the struggles, hopes, and dreams of 20 sponsored students at UNIFAT School. Immersed in pictures, videos, and personal stories, each participant had to opportunity to meet the children of UNIFAT on a whole new level.
