Expanding

UNIFAT Primary School has been growing ever since it started with 10 children under a tree in 1985. Abitimo (founder of UNIFAT) knows the importance of education and has a hard time turning away a child who wants to learn. This has caused the school to swell to over 1,300 students and has made the need for additional classrooms a pressing concern. The current average student to teacher ratio is 85:1. Unified for UNIFAT wants to lower that ratio to a more manageable 50:1 through the addition of more classrooms and the hiring of more teachers.

Keep it clean

With the population of UNIFAT growing every year, the latrines the school currently uses have become inadequate. Cleanliness is a top priority at UNIFAT and to maintain a safe learning environment, the administration has asked Unified for UNIFAT to help fund the construction of new eco-friendly latrines and water storage tanks.
